Trucking during the winter is not for the faint of heart. Rain, sleet and snow can make roads dangerous, slippery and sometimes altogether impassible. The biting cold can lead to sickness, plus the added risk of hypothermia and frostbite.
So how do truck drivers make it through the winter? We asked you for your best winter weather driving advice. The general consensus was to slow down, invest in some quality winter gear and don’t put yourself in situations where you aren’t comfortable.
