NC fleet starts new year with new president

Kernersville, NC-based Best Logistics Group, named veteran employee Roy S. Cox its new president effective Jan. 1.

A 21-year veteran of Best Logistics Group, Cox  succeeds Mike Herman.

Cox is a former chairman of the North Carolina Trucking Association, and serves on the board of directors of the Truckload Carriers Association.

Previously, Cox had overseen Best Cartage, a regional truckload carrier; Best Specialized, which carries heavy equipment; and Best Dedicated. He will now be responsible for all six of the company’s divisions.
