northAmerican, Allied earn honors from AMSA

SIRVA, Inc.‘s van lines, Allied and northAmerican, recently received recognition from the American Moving & Storage Association, the national trade association for the household moving industry.

The recognition included:

  • University Moving & Storage, a northAmerican agent, was awarded AMSA’s Moving & Storage Agent of the Year Service Excellence Award. The award recognizes University for “excellent customer satisfaction, commitment to quality and support for the local community,” according to a SIRVA news release.
  • Terrance Hocking, a driver with northAmerican’s Beltmann Group, was awarded AMSA’s Van Operator of the Year for Household Goods. Hocking has been an owner/operator with northAmerican for 21 years and has driven more than 1.4 million miles without any accidents or moving violations.
  • William Caldwell, an Allied driver with Atlas Transfer & Storage, was awarded the AMSA’s Rookie of the Year. Caldwell has driven more than 370,000 miles and ranks in the top 15 percent of Allied’s fleet.
