Still no leads in Washington truck stop stabbing probe

There are still no leads and no arrests in the truck stop stabbing that left a trucker dead in Sumner, Washington March 8.

Sumner Chief of Police Brad Moericke said evidence from the investigation is pending forensic analysis at the state crime lab at this time.

Piotr Pietrzykowski, 52, of Elgin, Illinois, was found stabbed to death in the cab of his truck at the Mustardseed Truck Stop in Sumner around 5:34 a.m. on March 8.

Truckersfinalmile.org, a non-profit organization helping truckers’ families, is offering a $2,500 reward for information that leads to an arrest and conviction in the case.
