The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration holds an educational event to explain implementation of electronic logging devices Oct. 11-12 at the Davis Travel Center off I-95 in Stony Creek, Virginia.
A statement from the FMCSA said staff will be available to discuss ELDs and answer questions from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. EDT each day. In addition, a there will be a presentation for drivers from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. each day.
The deadline remains Dec. 18 for conversion from paper logs to ELDs.
