Two storms will make travel tricky through weekend

A storm system will move across the lower Great Lakes Friday through Friday night, followed by another storm tracking across the Ohio Valley and northern mid Atlantic region during the weekend.

The National Weather Service Eastern Regional Headquarters says heavy snow is expected to be limited to the Great Lakes into northern New England. However, heavy rain is expected with the weekend storm across the Tennessee Valley and southern Appalachians northeast into the mid Atlantic and southern New England.
