Northbound I-75 near Detroit was a mess today as a truck with two trailers filled with more than 50 tons of treated human waste tipped over.
WWJ-TV reports the rollover occurred about 10 a.m. but that all lanes of traffic were open by the middle of the afternoon. However, there is still cleanup to be performed.
No injuries were reported, and it’s unclear what caused the mishap. The waste was headed to a landfill when the accident occurred.
