Texas authorities and federal investigators have identified the truck driver for the United States Postal Service who was shot killed early Monday along eastbound Interstate 30 near downtown Dallas.

The Dallas Morning News reports police say the shooting occurred at about 2:20 a.m. The driver, identified as 58-year-old Tony Mosby, is said to have died at the scene and that his tractor-trailer crashed into a guardrail.

Police have no motive for the shooting at this time.

A traffic camera in the area showed the USPS big rig and two Postal Service box trucks at the scene, which is not far from the main post office.

Police say the shooter fled the scene, but have give no description.

Federal investigators announced a $50,000 reward on Tuesday for information leading to an arrest and conviction in the case.
