The driving skills competition, put on by the Georgia Motor Trucking Association (GMTA), was held May 10-12 in Lake Lanier Islands, Georgia.
McElwaney also won first place in the 5-Axle class.
UPS Freight driver Joey Whitaker was honored as the Rookie of the Year. The association also named Tim Taylor as its Driver of the Year during the event.
