Plane tries to land on I-80; hits tractor-trailer instead

Here’s one from the, “How Do You Explain This to the FMCSA” file. The Wyoming Highway Patrol, in the Facebook post below, says the pilot of a small plane with engine trouble tried to land his craft on I-80 Thursday. Instead, he struck a tractor-trailer and a highway sign before coming to rest by the side of the interstate. Remarkably, neither the pilot nor the truck driver was injured.
