Mark McClure, a truck driver for Domino’s, was named grand champion at the Connecticut Truck Driving Championship. He also won first place in the 5-Axle class.
The championship was organized by the Motor Transport Association of Connecticut. It was held June 9 at the FedEx Freight facility in Windsor Locks.
The winners were:
Grand Champion: Mark McClure, Domino’s
3-Axle: David Misenheimer, Domino’s
4-Axle: David Bryant, FedEx Freight
5-Axle: Mark McClure, Domino’s
Flatbed: Paul Brandon, FedEx Freight
Sleeper Berth: Clint Martin, Domino’s
Tanker: Tony Spero, ABF Freight
Step Van: John Falkevitz, FedEx Express
Straight Truck: Andrew Martin, FedEx Express
Twin Trailers: William Oakes, FedEx Freight
