The Great American Trucking Show literally rolls into Dallas’ Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center later this week, and the 2018 edition has plenty to stand behind its claim that this is “Where Trucking Improves.”
The show, which has over 550 exhibitors on 500,000 square feet of exhibit space, opens to the public at noon Thursday and runs to 5 p.m. It’s open Friday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and 9 a.m. to 4 .m. Saturday.
During those times, GATS delivers truckloads of information, education and no small amount of fun.
The man behind it all is Stacy McCants, the vice president for events at Randall-Reilly, which stages the show. He took time out of getting ready for GATS to chat about what’s happening later this week in Dallas, and offers a sneak peek at some of the new things at GATS.
