A fire early this morning appears to have destroyed a truck stop and diner off Interstate 40 in Oklahoma.

Ed’s Truck Stop and Ed’s Diner, located on U.S. 64 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma between Oklahoma City and Fort Smith is a total loss, according to a report today by KFSM-TV.

No injuries were reported, and the fire was extinguished before it reached the fuel pumps.

KFSM said the truck stop “is known for its 1950s-style diner, which featured classic memorabilia and an antique (1946) Lincoln Continental convertible.”

Lydia Phillips, who worked at the truck stop posted to her Facebook page today, “Woke up to the news that I didn’t need to come into work this morning because it was currently up in flames. The news was definitely heartbreaking and shocking. This was such a great job and I made so many great memories at the diner. I’m so thankful for the job and every single person I worked with.”
