Indiana State Police couldn’t resist the headline “Sticky situation on I-80/94” for its news release about a crash of a tractor-trailer loaded with honey this morning.

Three lanes of eastbound Interstate 80/94 at Calumet Avenue in Indiana were closed when a tractor-trailer loaded with 41,000 pounds of amber honey lost control and rolled over, according to police. A statement from police said five containers of honey spilled from the trailer and eight others were still inside. Police said at least four containers leaked.

The troopers said, “It appears the semi was coming onto eastbound I-80/94 from Calumet Avenue when his front axle broke which caused the driver to lose control and roll over.”

The driver of the truck was not injured, according to the police.
