Tropical storm warnings have been posted for much of the Gulf Coast and the Southeast.
The National Weather Service and the Weather Channel say warnings are up for the Gulf Coast from the Mississippi-Alabama border to the Ochlockonee River in Florida. They suggest you “be prepared for gusty winds, heavy rain, and some coastal flooding.”
Peak winds are forecast to reach 35-45 mph with gusts to 65 mph early Saturday morning until Saturday morning.
