For the fifteenth year, FedEx Freight and the Christmas SPIRIT Foundation are partnering for the Trees for Troops program. FedEx Freight will deliver Christmas trees to over 75 domestic and international U.S. military bases.
FedEx Freight will head over the road with 17,000 fresh-cut Christmas trees. Since the program launch in 2004, FedEx has delivered more than 225,000 Christmas trees.
“Trees for Troops is a joint effort that is made possible by our team members and the Christmas SPIRIT Foundation,” said John Smith, president and CEO of FedEx Freight. “We are proud to celebrate the holidays with these military families and lend our superior network and operations expertise to a great cause.”
