A Washington State carrier has received major national recognition once again.
Peninsula Truck Lines was ranked the number one less-than-truckload carrier in the nation in the annual survey by the consulting and research firm Mastio and Company. Peninsula has been recognized this way in three of the last four years. This year's ranking included 184 carriers.
Mastio's rankings for 2022 showed Peninsula, which is based in Federal Way, Washington, was rated the highest overall for value and loyalty, This was the second consecutive year Peninsula was number one overall.
The surveyed freight customers -- 1,600 in all -- identified important differentiators when selecting a carrier for overall performance. Of all participating carriers, Peninsula Truck Lines ranked number one overall and in the following categories:
- Shipments delivered when promised
- Consistent transit times
- Courteous and professional drivers
- Responsiveness
- Proactive communications
- Ease of doing business
- Deserves my loyalty
- Overall value received
