One rest area on Interstate 95 in Virginia will have limited restroom facilities for two days next week.

Maintenance repairs to the water system at the I-95 southbound Ladysmith Safety Rest Area in Caroline County will require the use of temporary restroom facilities on Tuesday, Sept. 12, and Wednesday, Sept. 13.

The rest area will remain open at all times, to include parking. However, water fountains will not operate on these two days.

Temporary facilities will include handwashing stations and accessible restrooms.

The I-95 southbound Ladysmith rest area is located at mile marker 107, south of exit 110 (Ladysmith).

Message boards are positioned along I-95 southbound in advance of the rest area to alert travelers that only temporary restroom facilities are available on Sept. 12-13.
