A trucker from Texas was airlifted to a hospital after he was ejected from his truck when it jackknifed and crashed on a mountain highway in Wyoming recently.

Ariel Crespo Sori, 51, of Houston, was injured in the crash that occurred Oct. 5. on U.S. Highway 16 near Buffalo in northeastern Wyoming. Sori's truck is said to have struck a guardrail and overturned while descending a downhill grade.

The truck was loaded with 40,000 pounds of bentonite, a clay used to make some medicines and makeup.
