A 63-year-old woman became the second person to die as the result of a disgruntled trucker driving a tractor-trailer into a Department of Public Safety office in Brenham, Texas two weeks ago.

Cheryl Turner was one of six people in the building at the time of the crash who were hospitalized. She died Monday, April 22.

The crash occurred April 12 when Clenard Parker, 42, allegedly stole a fully-loaded flatbed tractor-trailer, led police on a chase before leaving the highway and driving the rig into the DPS building. Fourteen people were in the building at the time of the crash.

Police said Parker had been denied the renewal of his CDL a day earlier.

Parker faces numerous counts and is being held on $6 million bond.

Brenham is located about 75 miles northwest of Houston.
