A FedEx Freight driver won the grand champion title at the recent Indiana Motor Truck Association Truck Driving competition, and another FedEx Freight employee won the event's technician grand champion title.
The driving competition's grand champion was Fed Ex Freight's Brian Walker. The technician grand champion was Jamie Smith, also with FedEx Freight.
The event's winning team for the fourth consecutive year was the squad representing Old Dominion Freight Line, Inc..
The winner of the Hames Glennon Hall of Fame Award was Mike White with Walmart Transportation.

- Three Axle - Nick Harding with Walmart Transportation
- Four Axle - Bruce Schwering with Fed Ex Freight

- Five Axle Sleeper - Brian Walker with Fed Ex Freight
- Flatbed - Michael Rummel with Old Dominion Freight Line
- Tank Truck - Glen Kirk with Old Dominion Freight Line
- Twin Trailer - Phil Glover with XPO
All of the class winners qualify to compete in the national competition in Indianapolis, Aug. 21-24.
The first student technician award was won. by Landen Bullock.
