Congressional hearing Wednesday takes up trucking industry issues

Trucking-related issues are the subject of a congressional hearing later this week.

The House of Representatives' Highways and Transit Subcommittee Chairman David Rouzer (R-NC) announced the subcommittee will hold a hearing to review Department of Transportation policies and programs affecting the trucking industry as Congress prepares to reauthorize the nation’s surface transportation programs.

The hearing, entitled “America Builds: How Trucking Supports American Communities,” will be held at 10 a.m. ET Wednesday in the Rayburn House Office Building.
