The Kansas Turnpike Authority (KTA), in partnership with Love’s Travel Stops, recently announced the opening of the first-ever Love’s Truck Care location on the Kansas Turnpike, located at the Topeka Service Area, mile marker 188.
“This collaboration with Love’s reflects our ongoing commitment to improving the travel experience for commercial drivers,” said Steve Hewitt, KTA’s CEO. “We’re excited to see this additional amenity come to life and support the essential work of the trucking industry.”
This new facility, which opened last week next to Love’s Travel Stop, brings expanded services to professional drivers traveling the Turnpike and Interstate 70. The site features three maintenance bays and offers a full range of Love’s Truck Care services, including tire replacement, oil changes, and light mechanical work. The location also expands the reach of Love’s emergency roadside assistance, enhancing support for drivers across the region.
