Canton, Ohio-based Peoples Services, Inc., the longstanding parent company of Total Distribution, Inc. today announced it has rebranded under a new name: Total Distribution Solutions, Inc.
The new name more clearly represents the company’s full scope of logistics, distribution, and supply chain solutions while unifying its identity across all operating entities, according to a statement from the company.
While the parent company name is changing, the Total Distribution brand, long recognized and trusted by customers and industry partners, remains central to the organization’s identity. The existing logo and visual brand elements will continue to be used.
Under the new structure, Total Distribution, Inc., Central Warehouse Operations, Inc., and Peoples Cartage, Inc. will remain distinct operating entities within the TDS family of companies. All existing customer contracts, partnerships, and service commitments remain unchanged.
According to the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration's SAFER data base, Peoples Cartage has 10 drivers. It provides dry van, reefer, flatbed, pneumatic bulk and food grade tanker services.

For more than a century, PSI served as the parent organization while the Total Distribution name increasingly became the unified identity recognized across markets and service lines. The transition to TDS strengthens brand cohesion and enhances clarity for customers, partners, and employees.
The rebrand follows a period of significant growth and recognition for the organization, according to the company.
