You probably don’t have a Christmas tree set up on your truck, but that doesn’t mean you can’t bring the holidays to your cab. These five Christmas albums offer different versions of some of the classic holiday songs.
1. “A Pentatonix Christmas” by Pentatonix
A cappella group Pentatonix’s 11-track Christmas album has the group’s twist on all the holiday classics. It came out Oct. 31 and is available for $7.99 on iTunes and $9.99 on Amazon. The album has an electronic/dance/rock vibe.
2. “Acoustic Christmas” by Neil Diamond
Neil Diamond gives his folk-inspired take on 10 Christmas classics on his newest holiday album, which came out Oct. 28. Diamond’s powerful tone combines well with an acoustic guitar for the album’s covers. It is available for $8.99 from Amazon and $7.99 from iTunes.
3. “My Kind of Christmas” by Reba McEntire
Reba McEntire’s 2016 Christmas album has covers of classics like “Winter Wonderland,” “Silent Night” and “Jingle Bell Rock.” This is Reba’s third Christmas album. It was released Sept. 2 and is available exclusively through Cracker Barrel for $11.99.
4. “Christmas Together” by Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood
One of country music’s favorite couples combine their talents for a new Christmas album. Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood put out their holiday album Nov. 11. Some of the album’s tracks include “Baby, It’s Cold Outside” and “Merry Christmas Means I Love You.” It’s available from Amazon for $8.99.
5. “White Christmas Blue” by Loretta Lynn
Country queen Loretta Lynn offers her first collection of seasonal songs since 1966 with the soon-to-be classic new song “White Christmas Blue.” Lynn wrote “White Christmas Blue” with Grammy award-winning songwriter Shawn Camp. The album came out Oct. 7 and is available from Amazon for $10.29 and iTunes for $10.99.
