1. The Crown
This Golden Globe-winning series is a biographical drama on the early reign of Queen Elizabeth II in the United Kingdom. The first season, released on Netflix in November, follows the young queen from her wedding day to 1955. The series will have 60 episodes in total over six seasons.
2. Chelsea
Comedian Chelsea Handler’s talk show found its home on Netflix in May 2016 and is the service’s first talk show. Handler brings on celebrity guests to talk about their work, with plenty of witty banter involved in classic Handler style.
3. Grace and Frankie
This comedy series stars Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin in the titles roles of Grace and Frankie. The two characters are brought together when their husbands reveal they are in love with one another and are getting married. Two seasons are available on Netflix and the service has confirmed the show will have a third season.
