Truck driver Dequilla Baker’s tractor-trailer broke down late last week near the intersection of I-485 and South Tryon in Charlotte, North Carolina. To add insult to injury, thieves stole the batteries from the truck while it sat waiting for repairs. Baker said she feels violated. She also said she intends to find the people who stole her truck’s batteries. Here’s her story.
