TravelCenters of America recently opened a new TA Express in Mt. Vernon, Texas. Formerly Duke’s Travel Plaza, the newly-branded TA Express is located on Interstate 30, exit 147 at 300 SE Access Rd.
Services and amenities include:

- Diesel fueling with RFID and DEF at all lanes
- Private showers
- Laundry room
- Driver’s lounge
- Dog park
- Travel store
Dining options include Cotton Belt BBQ, Taco Casa, on-site deli with made-to-go freshly prepared options
The Mt. Vernon site grows the company’s total nationwide network of travel centers to 266.
