There's nowhere better to learn about the trials and tribulations of truck drivers than on the road, and in the truck stops and travel centers they frequent.
Lisa Mullings, president and CEO of NATSO, the organization representing truck stops and travel centers took that to heart recently. She joined Werner Driver Jennifer Evans for a week on the road seeing what truckers have to deal with in their day-to-day lives.
In this edition of the Truckers News Podcast, Mullings talks about what she saw while making a 1,500-mile trek with Evans. who has driven for Werner since 2003. She gained insights about trucking and truckers as well as about the industry she represents.
Mullings said it was a valuable experience and expects to do it again.
