Like them, the truck set a Guinness World Record.
The Denver Post reports that the truck set an official Guinness mark for “Longest continuous journey by a driverless and autonomous lorry.” (Lorry = tractor/trailer in Britian.)
The Otto autonomous truck made a 132-mile trip from Fort Collins, Colorado to downtown Denver on Oct. 20 of last year. In the process, it delivered 51,744 cans of Budweiser.
Otto is now owned by Uber.
