Judges and folks who attended last week’s Great American Trucking Show in Dallas had their says about which show trucks they liked the best in the Pride and Polish Truck Show.
Best of Show winners were announced in five categories – working bobtail, working combo, limited-mileage bobtail, limited-mileage combo and builders class – along with the People’s Choice winner.
Bradley Wacks, out of Waco, Texas, and his Army and Air Force Exchange 2018 International and 2018 Hyundai van was selected as the People’s Choice award winner.
Picking up Best of Show in the Limited Mileage Bobtail category was Jake Lindamood, out of Irving, Texas, and his 1988 Peterbilt 379.
Guilford, Connecticut-based Jon Donadio’s 1996 Kenworth W900 and 2018 East trailer earned Best of Show honors in the Working Combo class.
In the Working Bobtail class, Chad and Janie Claypool and Kyle Cousins, out of Carthage, Missouri, picked up Best of Show honors.
Waterford, Wisconsin’s Bubba Branch’s and Dawes Contract Carriage’s 2016 Kenworth T660 and 2018 Globe RGN won Best of Show in the Limited Mileage Combo category.
Front Royal, Va.’s Mike Manuel’s “Autism: One of Many” 2015 Peterbilt 389 and 2016 Mac curtainside earned Best of Show in the Builder’s Class category. Manuel is from Front Royal, Virginia.
