Team of horses gives truck an assist

It is with no small amount of sadness that we learned that Budweiser will keep its mammoth and majestic clydesdales in the barn this holiday season and not in its ads.

The much-loved ads have featured the huge draft horses since 1987, but this year they’re being replaced by zombies and J. Z. The Wall Street Journal reports that Budweiser is chasing the 21-27-year-old market and figures it needs a different image.

Now is as good a time as any to remember that sometimes, real (draft) horsepower is needed. While this video shows off the hard work of Belgians, we see it as a nod to all horses who still work for a living.
