Bridge proves it is NOT ‘structurally deficient’

A bridge too strong.

Much has been written about the bad condition of U.S. roads and bridges. This bridge in Arkansas — the Broadway bridge connecting Little Rock to North Little Rock — proved it was in better shape than the Arkansas DOT thought. The DOT tried to bring it down Tuesday, Oct. 11, but the bridge had other ideas. But, at least the DOT had a sense of humor, Tweeting, “That didn’t go as planned.” with “#TheDayTheBridgeStoodStill.”
