In separate incidents five days apart last week, tractor-trailers struck the backs of snowplows on the New York State Thruway (I-90). As a result, the Thruway Authority and plow drivers are warning truckers and other motorists to give plows room to work. The first incident occurred Feb. 13 near Canajoharie, New York, and the second occurred Feb. 17 near Amsterdam.
