Tractor-trailer rolls, burns on NJ Turnpike

No one was injured when a tractor-trailer overturned and burst into flames on a northbound New Jersey Turnpike exit ramp in Bergen County Monday morning, July 13.

The crash took place on the ramp to exit 16W in East Rutherford around at about 6:15 a.m., according to New Jersey State Police. The truck was carrying 8,800 gallons of diesel fuel, Port Authority police said

The 16W interchange was closed in both directions for several hours fo the cleanup, officials said.

The crash remains under investigation.
