Unoccupied RV rolls into tractor-trailer; both burn

The driver of a tractor-trailer escaped without injury Tuesday morning, June 15, when an unoccupied recreational vehicle caught fire and rolled into the truck on Interstate 70 in Colorado.

The incident occurred at about 10:30 a.m. on westbound I-70 near the Lookout Mountain exit about 20 miles west of Denver.

Officials say both vehicles sustained major damage from the blaze.

Westbound I-70 was closed for much of the day Tuesday.

Colorado State Police continue their investigation.
