Newly released dash cam video captures the March 1 incident that left a tractor-trailer driver hanging over the Clark Memorial Bridge over the Ohio River in downtown Louisville.
Sydney Thomas, a driver for Sysco, was left dandling over the edge of the bridge for some 45 minutes until a Louisville Fire Department firefighter was able to be lowered over the edge of the bridge to lift her to safety.
The incident occurred when the driver of a pickup first struck a stalled vehicle and a second car before striking Thomas's tractor-trailer, sending it through the guardrail. The cab of the rig was left hanging over the river 100 feet below, while the trailer remained on the bridge.
The driver of the pickup was charged with four counts of wanton endangerment and one count of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.
