A car carrier loaded with Teslas caught fire and burned on the Golden State Freeway (Interstate 5) in the Sylmar neighborhood of Los Angeles over the weekend.
The fire was reported at 5:35 p.m. Saturday on the southbound truck lane of the freeway. The Los Angeles Fire Department reported the fire out at about 9:30 p.m.
There were eight cars on the trailer at the time of the fire. Six of them and the tractor were destroyed.
The driver escaped the fire uninjured.
Police continue their investigation.
