Driver-facing dash cam footage shows details of last week's crash on the Florida Turnpike that left three people dead.
The footage shows driver Harjinder Singh as he is making an illegal U-turn attempting to cross the highway's median, and his reaction at the moment of the crash.
Singh was arrested and charged with three counts of vehicular homicide.
The crash has sparked political controversy as Singh crossed into the U.S. from Mexico illegally in 2018, and sought asylum. Since then, he received CDLs from Washington and California.
Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy announced the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration is conducting an investigation of the incident. Duffy slammed the practice of granting non-domiciled CDLs, and drivers who do not speak English.
