Due to the high winds being forecast for the Erie, Pennsylvania region, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation is imposing restrictions on tractor-trailers hauling empty trailers on Interstate 90.

The restrictions will be in place from 10 a.m. to midnight Sunday, Feb. 24. The ban covers I-90 from the Ohio state line to the New York state line.

New York has instituted a travel ban of its own for parts of the state expecting high winds.
