This week offers an embarrassment of country music riches, as two new CDs debut. New from Little Big Town delivers Pain Killer and Gavin DeGraw drops of Finest Hour, a greatest hits collection.
Pain Killer is Little Big Town’s the sixth studio album. Eight of its 13 cuts were co-written by the members of the band, Karen Fairchild, Jimi Westbrook, Kimberly Schlapman and Phillip Sweet. Country Weekly called it, “… velvety, lush harmonies, well-thought-out lyrics, thumping up-tempo rockers and tug-at-your-heartstrings ballads.” $9.99
Finest Hour is an 11-cut offering that includes a new version of DeGraw’s hit Finest Hour. Also on this hits collection is Not Over You, We Belong Together and I Don’t Wanna Be. Finest Hour — the CD — is a follow-up to DeGraw’s well-received fourth studio album, Make A Move. $9.99
