The last time anyone wrote about a “new” Bob Seger album was 2006 when Face The Promise debuted. But, the man from the Motor City is back, covering a lot of ground on his latest effort. Seger, who turns 70 next May, salutes his roots with Detroit Made and yearns for the road with the title cuts’ lyrics: “Time to disconnect from clutter/Time to hit the road.” Ride Out, the album, has some country twinge but also reaches back to a folk classic with Woody Guthrie’s California Stars. $11.99
