Amazon Prime expands offline viewing to iOS, Android

The service allows for offline viewing.

Amazon’s Prime Video steaming service is extending Prime Video downloads to iOS and Android platforms so you can watch when you are offline.

It now allows Prime members to download a television show or movie to their device, letting them view it even if they do not have an internet connection. The service previously only offered this service on their Kindle Fire devices.

Amazon is the first and only subscription streaming service to offer this feature, according to the company.

The service comes at no additional charge for Prime members.
