Redbox, the DVD rental service, may be launching a video streaming service called Redbox Digital, according to reports by Variety.
According to Variety, Redbox Digital will be a video-on-demand store for digital rental or purchase of movies or television show episodes. It will be similar to services currently available on iTunes and the Google Play Store.
No cost for the service has been released at this time. Redbox has not confirmed the service’s launch at this time.
