Two Coast Guardsmen set off on the hardest mission of their lives when they’re sent on a small boat into one of the worst blizzards in 1952 in The Finest Hours.
A T-2 oil tanker was ripped in half off the Cape Cod coast during the storm, putting over 30 sailors in danger. Captain Bernie Webber is instructed to conduct a rescue, but as the storm picks up, the challenge of rescuing the sailors increases.
Chris Pine, Casey Affleck, Ben Foster, Eric Bana, Holliday Grainger, John Oritz and more star in this film is based on a true story.
The Finest Hours comes to DVD and Blu-ray on May 24.
