Check out 5 Netflix originals to watch this weekend

Netflix has been stepping up its original content the last few years, adding original series an entire season at a time. The streaming service has over 100 originals available, and here are a few to check out.

1. Bloodline

A group of siblings, living in the Florida Keys, are caught off guard when their other brother Danny, the black sheep of the family, returns home. The family’s organized dysfunction begins to unravel with Danny’s return, with the siblings’ secrets coming out. Seasons 1 and 2 are available for streaming.

2. Narcos

Narcos is the story of Colombian drug kingpin Pablo Escobar. Escobar rose to the top of the drug lord food chain by producing and distributing cocaine, and he had some interesting encounters along the way. Season 1 is available for streaming; a second season is expected in 2016.

3. Daredevil 

Set in the Marvel cinematic universe, Matt Murdock is a blind lawyer who spends his evening’s fighting crime in Hell’s Kitchen as the costumed Daredevil. The first two seasons are available for streaming.

4. Making a Murderer

This 10-part documentary series examines the case of Steven Avery, who was freed from a wrongful conviction after serving 18 years. Just two years after having been exonerated, Avery was arrested for the murder of a photographer. All 10 parts of the documentary series are available for streaming.

5. Peaky Blinders

Tommy Shelby is the ambitious boss of the Peaky Blinders gang. He’s determined to expand his gangster family’s influence, but detective Chester Campbell wants to take him down. All three seasons are available for streaming.
