Little Big Town’s Karen Fairchild said 2016 was an incredibly creative year for the group. Between working with producer Pharrell Williams (Happy) on their record from last year and hitting the road with Luke Bryan to perform 70 shows, they still found time to put together a new album. The Breaker, which arrives today, came together in small pieces while they were touring.
“I mean, when you’re that busy it’s like the success also makes it difficult to like write all the time, because writing on the road is not the easiest thing in the world,” Fairchild said in a UMG Nashville release. “You have a million different distractions, and so there’s all kinds of things like getting focused. But we had the blessing of having all of these incredible songs sent to us and they seemed to be piecing themselves together.”
They may not have been able to write as many songs for The Breaker as they have for past albums, but it’s still a 12-track album. It’s available from Amazon and iTunes.
The album’s track list:
1. Happy People
2. Night On Our Side
3. Lost In California
4. Free
5. Drivin’ Around
6. We Went To the Beach
7. Better Man
8. Rollin’
9. Don’t Die Young, Don’t Get Old
10. Beat Up Bible
