On Sunday, May 16, some talented people are putting their musical talents to work for a good cause: truck drivers in need.

Highway to Hope is a concert that features TV and country music star John Scheider, Wynona Judd and Lindsay Lawler among others. Livestreaming at 6 p.m. Central Sunday, the concert will benefit the St. Christop Relief Fund for truck drivers in need.

Schneider, best knows a Bo Duke in The Dukes of Hazzard has a soft spot for truckers and more than a little admiration for them. His new album Truck On is filled with music that celebrates and honors truckers, who Schenider says "keep this world going."

In this edition of the Truckers News :Podcast, Schneider talks about making that album, and also about Stand On It, the movie he made that is a tribute to the classic trucker film Smokey and the Bandit.

Tickets for Sunday's livestream event are available for $20 on the SCF website at livestream.truckersfund.org, which will also be the site for the livestream.
