The Dart Network has announced a 4-cent-per-mile pay increase on loaded miles for over the road owner-operators, effective Sept. 1. This is the third increase for Dart OTR owner-operators within the last 12 months, according to a statement from the company.

Owner-operators who operate OTR will have the potential to earn up to $165,000 or more in a year, and can also qualify for up to $10,000 in sign-on bonuses, according to the company.

“We are excited to offer our over the road owner-operator business partners another pay increase this year,” said Wendy Bartz, Dart’s director of recruiting. “We are increasing the base rate by another 4 cents per mile. During the last year, we have increased OTR owner-operator pay as much as 8 cents per mile in some markets. Dart is putting owner-operators and drivers first and this new pay increase is just one way to say thank you.”
