YRC Worldwide — parent company of YRC Freight, New Penn and Holland — and the Teamsters union have reached a tentative agreement on a new collective bargaining agreement. Details of the new labor agreement were not made public.

The current contract, which expires March 31, has been extended through May 31. This allows the company and the union to finalize some language and for union members to ratify the new contract, according to a statement from the union.

“The parties have worked incredibly hard to reach a new tentative agreement in principle,” said the Teamsters’ National Freight Director and TNFINC Co-Chair Ernie Soehl. “There were a lot of issues, history, and emotions involved with these negotiations.”
